Sam’s Beach Bar in Hudson Beach has a lot going for it when it comes to the location and atmosphere. It’s a really cool-looking waterfront restaurant and bar with a beautiful view of the water. It’s the kind of place you want to sit back, enjoy the scenery, have a cold drink, and eat some good seafood. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the setting. From the time we were seated, we just didn’t feel very welcomed. I asked our waitress about the crab cakes and whether they were good. She said they were popular, so I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, they were very disappointing. The texture was so finely processed that it seemed like all the ingredients had been blended together, and I really couldn’t taste the crab at all. When you order a crab cake, especially at a waterfront restaurant in Florida, you expect the crab to be the star. We also had the clam strips, which were overcooked, making them tougher than they should have been. It’s a shame because the location is fantastic and the restaurant has a great beach-bar atmosphere and plenty of potential. I really wanted to love this place. With friendlier hospitality and some improvement in the seafood, especially the crab cakes, Sam’s Beach Bar could be a great waterfront destination.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with beautiful waterfront views that make it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel right at home. The food and drinks were excellent, with great flavors and generous portions. Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch, sunset cocktails, or an evening with friends, Sam's Beach Bar delivers a fantastic experience every time. The combination of great service, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and an unbeatable beachside vibe makes this one of the best spots around. I highly recommend Sam's Beach Bar to anyone looking for a fun and memorable dining experience. I will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten here several times, and every visit has been outstanding. The restaurant sits right on the water, so whether you choose indoor or outdoor seating, the views are beautiful and make for a relaxing dining experience. The menu is large and has something for everyone, from fresh seafood to plenty of other great options. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The quality of the food has been consistently excellent every time I’ve visited. The service is another reason I keep coming back. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for great food, exceptional service, and a waterfront atmosphere that’s hard to beat in Hudson, this place is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it and will continue coming back.

I ordered lobster bisque soup which was just ok. It was basically tomato soup. My hubby ordered crabcakes for which he shared & those were good. We really enjoyed sitting with the view of the water & listening to the live music. The staff was friendly & the owner or manager (I'm not sure who he was) came over to ask how we liked the food. We said it was fine. After it was nice to walk along the water back to our car.

Went there for dinner tonight with my friends. It was a wonderful night out on the patio with awesome views of the ocean. Bill was our waiter and he did a great job. Specifically the shrimp seafood boil was very, very good and the wife and I really enjoyed the fried grouper sandwich and the lobster bisque was considered a win for all of us. Super nice place.
